Ooma outgoing calls not working
We can receive incoming calls just fine (unfortunately many of them are robocalls we have to blacklist!), but 10 or 11 digit outgoing calls have an 8-10 second delay and then a rapid busy signal. None go through, even to Ooma's 888 customer service line!Feb 2, 2013 · Calling Ooma from Rogers landline does not work - gives instant fast busy signal. I talked to Ooma tech support two days ago, and was passed to their level 2 support. They said they would get back to me in a couple hours, but I have not heard back from them yet. Thought I would log my issues here in case anybody else is in the same boat.The other end calls me back and everything works normally. My bandwidth is about 600Meg down and 40Meg up (fiber coming soon). I am using a TP-Link Deco M4R router with an unmanaged switch that has the Ooma unit plugged into. I have not tried plugging the Ooma directly into the Deco router. Any suggestions on what settings to look at?

I just got my Ooma box today and I went through the registration. The outgoing calls worked fine but when I try to make incoming calls, I get nothing. I see the 1 light on the box turn red for a sec and then turn back blue. On the receiving side, I never hear the phone ring.The bad audio only happens when the other party is connected via the PSTN (public switched telephone network). My internet service is 25 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up or in the units Ooma uses 25,000 kbps down and 5,000 kbps up.
